Born in Providence, Rhode Island, Katey Curtis grew up in Worcester, Massachusetts. She studied with Tim McCreight at the Worcester Center for Crafts, earning a certificate in the Professional Craft Studies program and graduated from Clark University. Curtis has worked as a studio jeweler for 25 years and has taught at the Worcester Center for Crafts for 20 years. She maintains a studio in Framingham, Massachusetts and exhibits her work in juried shows nationally.
