Sheila Corkery

Sheila Corkery discovered her passion for designing jewelry while working at a dental lab during college. She was fascinated by the craft of casting, lost wax molds, and firing porcelain to make dental molds, techniques which she would later incorporate into her jewelry practice.

After college Corkery apprenticed at Kosmima Fine Jewelry in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, while attending The School of the Museum of Fine Arts. After working at Kosmima for seven years, Corkery opened her own studio in Harvard Square in 2002. Since then her work has been featured in fashion magazines, on the cover of O Magazine, and was worn by Queer Eye for the Straight Guy's Thom Filicia, Carson Kressley, Kyan Douglas, and Jai Rodriguez in many episodes of the show. Allison Janney, Kirsten Dunst, and Trudi Styler all have her pieces in their jewelry boxes.

Organic, free form shapes that feel smooth and silky to the touch, fitted to the wrist, waist or finger – each piece of my jewelry allows you to dress up or down effortlessly with flair.
