Jean Segaloff
Jean Segaloff is a watercolorist, printmaker, bookmaker and ceramicist who lives and works in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
My work is about connecting with materials. I imagine the best way to visually describe what I want to say and then choose the medium to communicate that experience. I am curious about how one medium interchanges with another, and build on that interchange to produce my own narrative. For over thirty years I have been developing and altering a family of images. It is comforting to know that I can rely on these familiar characters to be representatives of my imagination.
