Caroline Golden graduated from the Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University in 2004 with a Bachelors in Fine Arts, concentrating in sculpture and painting. From 2006-2009, Golden was an apprentice under a metalsmith jeweler in Santa Fe, New Mexico. During this time she had hands-on training working primarily with high-carat gold, semi-precious stones, and sterling silver jewelry. Golden learned traditional metalsmithing techniques while cultivating her own sense of pristine craftsmanship and unique aesthetic. Since then, she has built on a style that is both modern and nostalgic, continuing to craft pieces around antique buttons, coins, buckles, stones, pearls, and other memorable finds.
